Inclusion of New\/Repeat data in your guide data allows an essential, consistent standard across all scheduling workflows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;Live Attribute<\/strong><br>For all&nbsp;<strong>Live programming<\/strong>\u2014especially&nbsp;<strong>News and Sports<\/strong>\u2014the&nbsp;<strong>Live<\/strong>&nbsp;field must be populated in MediaStar using one of the following attributes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Live &#8211; Happening <em>in real time<\/em>&nbsp;as the event occurs<\/li><li>Live Taped &#8211; Recorded as if it were live &#8211; feels like a live show, but it\u2019s technically pre-recorded<\/li><li>Live Replay &#8211; A <em>rebroadcast <\/em>of something that originally aired live<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This data is critical for proper DVR functionality. For example, when a local viewer sets their DVR to record&nbsp;<em>all live newscasts<\/em>, missing or inaccurate Live information in your guide data can result in that viewer missing a live local broadcast entirely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>Additional Impact for Comscore Clients<\/strong><br>The&nbsp;<strong>New\/Repeat<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Live<\/strong>&nbsp;attributes are now required for stations submitting&nbsp;<strong>as-run data from MediaStar to Comscore\/TiVo<\/strong>. Missing or incomplete data may impact downstream reporting and audience measurement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;As Guide Data Providers continue to increase automation, the accurate population of these fields in MediaStar Scheduler and Manager is crucial.
