NCAA Basketball Tournament – MediaStar Schedule Updates

Posted on March 13th, 2018 by TitanTV, Inc.

The excitement and drama of the NCAA Basketball Tournament also raises questions about how the games will affect your schedules and how will they be updated.

You may have noticed placeholders for the 2018 NCAA Basketball Championship have been placed in your schedule by FYI Television, our data provider.  In the coming days, those time slots will be filled by FYI with the games that will be televised in your area by the network.

Updating the schedules and matchups for each round of games will be performed by FYI and inserted into your schedule during the regular overnight processing.

In some cases, especially for games on the West coast with late starting times, games may finish too late for their outcomes and their resultant matchups to be processed and included in the next day’s data feed. This means the slots of one or more upcoming games may display placeholder information until the schedule is updated by the next overnight processing cycle.

To update your schedules as soon as possible to ensure they accurately reflect the next round of games, we encourage you to use MediaStar to enter the teams and starting times of those games. Once entered, we also remind you to publish your schedule to your stations’ guide pages.

Please contact us at 1-800-365-7629 or at customercare@titantv.com if you have any questions about maintaining your schedules during this year’s tournament.
